Chapter: 5912
Since Yedchen's hands were cuffed behind him with three pairs of handcuffs, Antonio didn't bother having someone fix him in place on the gallows. Instead, he took Yedchen to the base of the gallows and, with growing impatience, snatched a gun from a nearby attendant's hand and pressed it against Yedchen's forehead, coldly saying, "Kid, you're lucky! Most people I personally kill are big shots in New York with names and faces. You're just a small role actor who got lucky – your good fortune is that you can die at my hands!"

Yedchen hadn't said a word yet when Amarnovych was already thinking to himself, "Antonio, this guy is from the Hua family of China, worth more than all these gangsters. If you really do kill him with one bullet, he should be the biggest one you've ever killed in your lifetime."

Yedchen was being pointed at by a gun and remained unfazed, thinking that no matter how strong the gun was, it couldn't possibly harm him as long as it wasn't some kind of exotic weapon.

"So, he smiled and said, 'Isn't this weird? Within a few hours of arriving in New York, I've been pointed at by two groups of people with guns to my head. Is this how you New York gangsters treat your guests?'"

Antonio didn't understand what he meant, frowned, and asked, "What do you mean? Two groups of people? Besides me, who else is pointing a gun at you?"

Yedchen replied casually, "Oh, no one. Just a few small fries. But you're in such a hurry, I'll take you to meet them soon."

"Take me? Antonio's eyes widened in confusion and asked Yedchen, "Are you out of your mind? Do you think I'll let you leave here alive?"

Amarnovych saw that Yedchen wasn't afraid at all, his heart racing with unease. He realized that every second Yedchen stayed alive posed a threat to himself, so he deliberately goaded Antonio, saying with a smile, "It seems this Chinese kid isn't afraid of you at all. I think he's just confident that you won't dare shoot him!"

Antonio's face turned red with anger, and he immediately told Amarnovych, "Amarnovych sir, please step back three steps. When I count to three, I'll blow his head off! Don't let your blood get all over the place then!"

Amarnovych smiled and nodded, stepping back a few paces, saying, "Antonio, you can start counting now."

Julia knew her father had already made up his mind to kill him, but she still tried her best, crying out, "Dad, don't... please... don't kill him... He's innocent..."

Antonio ignored her and fixed his gaze on Yedchen, saying coldly, "Three!"

Yedchen smiled slightly and opened his mouth, saying, "Two!"

"Oh, no!" Antonio didn't think Yedchen would pull off one last stunt, gritting his teeth and saying, "Well, this is your last voice in this world!"

He then shouted, "One!"

And without hesitation, he pulled the trigger!

Bang!

A clear gunshot echoed through the cellar, accompanied by Julia's piercing scream.

Antonio smoothly pulled the trigger, and the recoil force transmitted to his wrist told him that one shot had already been fired.

Just as he was about to see Yedchen's brain splatter everywhere, he was shocked to discover that Yedchen was utterly unscathed!

He didn't know it, but at the exact moment he pulled the trigger, Yedchen had just casually cocked his head and dodged the bullet by a hair's breadth, before quickly returning his gaze to Antonio's gun.

Antonio was dumbfounded; he couldn't even see what Yedchen had done just now. He only felt that in front of him, the bullet had been fired, and Yedchen was still smiling at him with an air of nonchalance.

The others were all stunned into silence, with Amarnov looking like a fool, staring fixedly at Yedchen. Although he didn't see Yedchen move, he felt that Yedchen's head had momentarily gone blank - how could he be unharmed?"

Just as he was staring at Antonio's dumbfounded face, Yedchen said with a smile: "Your shooting skills aren't good either, are they?"

"Sh*t!" Antonio didn't think twice and immediately cocked the trigger towards Yedchen's forehead again. JrNovels.com
